At Lovetts Fine Art Gallery, we have excellent layaway terms as a service to our clients. We ask you to pay a reasonable amount down at the time of purchase based on the layaway program you select. From there you are expected to make monthly payments on the piece until it is paid in full.
There are no fees or interest for placing an item on layaway. The item will be released to you once the full cost has been paid. This includes applicable taxes and shipping.
Online layaway options are available for all purchases over $500. Monthly payment is based on total cost including applicable taxes. Shipping is charged separately.

If you would like to setup a layaway plan for any item or service - please contact us or come into the gallery. We will do our best to make sure the piece you want is within any budget. Setting up a layaway plan is at the sole discretion of Lovetts Gallery.

In-store: Simply select an item you want to place on layaway. We will get the invoice ready for you. Decide which payment plan you would prefer. We offer three payment plans; 10% down with 10% each month, 25% down with 25% each month or 33% down with 33% each month. You will be charged the down payment and then be expected to make that payment each month until it is paid off.
Online: Add your items to the shopping cart and go to the checkout screen. If the total amount of items is equal to or more than $500 there will be a layaway option available under payment types. You will need to specify in the notes field which payment plan you would like; 10%, 25% or 33%. Once we receive your order will send you a PayPal invoice for the down payment. Once it is paid the layaway will officially be active. You will receive invoice requests each month around the same time until it is fully paid. If you plan on coming into the gallery to make the down payment then please include that in the notes field at checkout.
No. We do not charge you any additional fees for setting up a layaway plan on any item in our gallery. You will be charged the total cost of the piece and any applicable tax and shipping.
You will be charged for the initial down payment at the time the layaway is setup. Monthly payments are due around that same time each month.
This is dependent on which monthly plan you choose. You will either pay 10%, 25% or 33% for initial down payment.
We offer a range of options to make things easy. We accept all major credit cards, cash, check and PayPal. If we have a card on file we can automatically charge the card for you on the agreed upon day each month. Alternatively, we can send out reminders if you prefer to pay by cash or check. We can also send invoices via PayPal every month when you payment is due.
Shipping on layaway items is determined once the layaway is paid in full. Once we process your final payment we will prep the items for shipment and get a direct quote from our shipper. Once the shipping cost is paid we will provide you with a copy of the paid shipping invoice and tracking information for your purchase.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on layaway items. When a layaway is created we make sure our artists are paid first. Because of this all sales and payments are final.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges on purchased pieces.
Yes! You are always welcome to pay more. You can also make more than one payment a month if you prefer.
In all situations we will make sure to provide you an updated invoice reflecting the payment.
We understand that there are situations where you might not be able to make a payment. If you need to postpone a monthly payment simply call or email us and we will make sure to note your file for the deferred payment. As long as we are made aware of the situation we can work with you through any issue.
We offer one deferment per layaway plan. Additional deferments are at the sole discretion of the gallery.
Layaway accounts are typically setup with either a 3, 4, or 10 month payment plan. Most layaway plans are paid off within those times. If you have difficulty making a payment or need to adjust how much you are paying - let us know and we will see if we can assist.
If we do not receive a payment or communication from you after 60 days we will consider your layaway abandoned. All money paid on the layaway up to that point is non-refundable. All items will be listed as available for purchase.
This is at the sole discretion of the gallery. We typically prefer our clients to finish out a layaway and start a new one rather than add to an existing agreement.
Once a down payment has been made on a layaway plan we do not allow you to remove or substitute items.
