Julia Gwen Poncavage

Julia Gwen Poncavage (b.2003) was raised in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. She is an art
graduate of Sue Hand's imagery based in Dallas, Pennsylvania, and started her career as a
young artist focusing on drawing portraits, figures, and animals. From her mentors, Julia learned
carefully cultivated discipline and resilience and developed a deep and constant passion to
create. The grace and strength poured into each work have caught the eye of many art lovers
and collectors around her home region. This has resulted in many accolades including
publication in Strokes of Genius: The Best of Drawing magazine.

With the support of family and loved ones, Julia has secured a strong foundation and identity to
further her education with ÀNI Art Academy and will be accepting a full scholarship from the
Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts to attend their fall '22 semester.
