AN ONLINE EXHIBITION WITH STEVEN GATICA
Steven’s work explores themes of hope and light, drawing inspiration from his faith and the beauty of creation. His paintings embody the belief that, as Rembrandt once said, “Without light, a painting is nothing.”
Based in Texas, Steven began pursuing art seriously at the age of 14. He studied under J.D. Hillbery and later received mentorship from Mark Carder. His dedication led him to complete the Milan Art Institute's Mastery Program, where he earned recognition for his portfolio and discovered his distinct artist voice.
With over 7,300 hours devoted to oil painting in the last 4 hours, Steven proudly shows his work with Lovetts Gallery in Tulsa, Ok.
