"This sculpture depicts two lovers (but not necessarily lovers) holding one another in a tender and caring embrace.I have tried to depict a sense of serenity in the faces without including too much information as to what their relationship might be. I am more and more drawn to sculpting the suggestion of figures as I feel this engages the imagination and allows for broader interpretation. The dripping effect is to convey a melting into or surrender of self to another, free from resistance."
