"This piece was originally a commission by a private collector of my work. It is part of my 'warrior' series, which includes my Spartan warrior and Samurai. The gladiator is a bronze I had been wanting to create for several years because of the striking armor, powerful stance, and legendary status of these fighters in Roman history. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to emphasize intricate detail, knowing the bronze would bring these elements to life. I'm very pleased with the result, and I hope I've honored the legacy of these iconic warriors."
