"I wanted to create a life size Golden Eagle but I also wanted to come up with a unique pose. Traditionally eagles are usually depicted swooping down, landing, catching a fish or a similar variation. I wanted a different but dynamic and dramatic pose so I chose an eagle in full flight as its banking to the right and looking at the prey animal it's going for. I feel that I've capture the movement and intensity of a hunting eagles' laser intent and focus."
