"A collector of my work commissioned me to sculpt a Spartan warrior and a Gladiator. While busy with these I spoke to him about adding a Samurai. He loved the idea and I got to work. It was a piece I'd been wanting to do for a very long time. The level of detail in their attire and the sheer dramatic impact of these iconic warriors lends itself beautifully to bronze. I wanted to go hyper realistic with serious attention to detail and I hope I've done justice."
